I felt I had to share this new image. The Bears must know, I think, that they are about to feature in a new book (which I’m editing under the guidance of the Editor-In_Chief).
I wonder what the collective noun for these chaps might be?

A bear huddle?

Huddle is good, Tracy. Sometimes more than others, as well. Might need to develop a series of descriptors for them.

I can hardly “bear” the cuteness.

I know, Peregrine. That’s how it is for me. There is always something about them that gets me in.

Did you know–the teddy bear was named about Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt (former U.S. President)? Fun fact. If you already knew, just ignore me. 🙂 Teddy bears are great.

Bear chefs in residence. I love that little guy on the end looking right at me!
Sorry, I’ve got no noun… my head has gone to Bearettes, like the Rockette dancers… which WP won’t let me spell

I love that in almost every image there is one bear looking to camera. Makes it possible to have a focus of conversation. It seems to happen by coincidence, to me, but probably I look for a face to focus on.
Thanks for attempting the collective noun. It is elusive.

I love the ‘attendance’ of bears — but that led me immediately to an ‘audience’ of bears! And who are those little guys in white ghost costumes directly behind them, towards the far end of the case?

Thank you, Janet.
I have a whole nother series of images that I called ‘Bakery Products’ that I thought might make a little book one day. All the goodies that end up getting a face put on them. Ghosts, and snails and freckled faces.
I shied away from it in the end, thinking maybe I was going overboard . . .
