Frank Prem has been writing poetry as a serious pursuit for in excess of twenty years, and has been published in magazines, e-zines and anthologies, both in Australia and in a number of countries overseas. He has won a number of writing competitions over the journey, and has performed his work in various spoken word venues around Victoria (Australia) and occasionally recorded it.
Frank has self-published three collections of his work, The Book of Evenings (written as Frank Faust, 2003), Memoir of a Dog (2008), and Small Town Kid (2009). His work is intended above all to communicate with a reader or listener on a personal level and aims to be accessible.
Frank lives with musician, artist and puppeteer Leanne Murphy in the historic town of Beechworth, where they nestle as close to nature as they can, eat whatever they can grow, potter around with whatever draws their attention and undertake collaborations in their artistic endeavours.
