and
in between
missile strikes –
the silence
is beautiful
It takes a LOT of courage to hear that silence as beautiful, and as hopeful. I’m afraid I’d be worried about what/shen the next shoe would fall! Thank you again for a very important interpretation of a “simple” moment in a terrible situation!

Happily, on our national news (MSNBC) tocay, there was a short clip of this incidental “concert.” — only one or two measures of the music, but enough to show the effect! What a nice break in the noise of war!

We almost feel as though we are with them physically, yet how could we be? There may not need to be a music festival this year in that the courage of the musician fuels another’s courage. The composers would be proud of this achievement in spite of terrible circumstances
