while the black clouds
Gathered far distant, over Himavant
~
in the latest
from america
right wings
have learnt
to fly
the uk
is in party
mode
on fridays
europe’s mind
is in belarus
where the name
of the game
is war
in the pacific
poor tonga
is disappearing
volcano fire
tsunami wave
smoke risen
to the strato-
sphere
~
there is a kind
of revulsion
that can find its way
through the dirt
beneath
your feet
can find its way
up
through the arteries
into
the heart
here
at home
we dance around
rapid tests
ambulance delays
and
icu beds
over-flowing
but
ambos
and doctors and
nurses
are ok
so long
as we all
say that they are
so
let us all
close our eyes
let us all
hold hands
let us all
state loudly
that it
is alright
everything
is alright
you and me
are alright
alright
and
everything
is ok
the volcano
comes
~
The volcano and following tsunami provided an interesting diversion from the rest of the mess in which nature finds itself!

And when the volcano comes …
very appropriate words, Frank. The world is erupting, flames and pain and smoke on the horizon …

Odd times indeed At least the situation in Tonga provided an alternative to Omicron or tennis or… I’m hankering for peace, myself.
