Completely delighted to let you know, and extend an invitation to attend the launch of a Charles Sturt University (CSU) project ‘Creative practice research flourishing between the cracks’, in which I’m fortunate to have some work featured.
The exhibition features mixed media and broadly addresses the following:
“The exhibition features animation, soundscape, photography, installation, painting, collage, textile arts, and creative writing, and has attracted international engagement and respected artists outside the University.
The works were all created in response to a provocation calling for works that explore what remains, or what may be created, within the ‘cracks and hollows’ of a world in crisis.“
At a personal creative level I am very interested – perhaps preoccupied – with imagery and verse that looks towards the periphery and was very pleased to have my submission accepted.
The exhibition will be available online after the launch and should be readily accessible if you care to check it out.
My thanks to Associate Professor Jennifer Munday, and to Dr Elizabeth Wulff from CSU for their work in delivering the project.
