if you
would like to see
me
dance
just wait . . .
the wind will
blow
I will
shimmer
on my branch
and then . . .
and then
I will
let go
ballerina
in the breeze
twirling
from
on high
and sailing
through
the air
the ground
is much too
close
but I will dance
the way
I know
and you
will follow
follow me
until
I fall
pick me up
for there
is more
throw me
again
into
the sky
and I will dance
around you
all the way
around
you
~
Beautiful and emotive Frank. 🙂

Thank you, Debby.
I love everything about this tree, which grows wild on my regular walk. The chestnuts that it bears are like Harry Potter’s Dirigible Plums, the way they sit on the branch.
Each flower cluster has the yellow I’ve featured here and another that is more towards red in colour. I’ll feature that one another time.
PLeased you liked it.

When I saw the flower, I thought it was an orchid! It’s beautiful — and so is the poem — I can almost see the flower dancing around me as it falls from the tree!

I laughed at this one, the image was so alive. Flowers dancing around you or blowing in the wind It gave me quite a buzz,(no bee sting here) to read it.

They’re gorgeous flowers, CLaire and I easily see them as ballerinas in the air.
Thank you.
