wouldn’t you say
that’s lucky

They are at the entrance to a building – perhaps a neighbourhood centre, I didn’t look too closely, as I was hunting weed flowers at the time . . .

I love this — both the photo and the poem! Yes — they are very lucky!

There is something about the lucky couple that’s disturbing.

SOmething about the faces, I suspect, Liz.
When I saw these I felt they might form a good match for a pic I have from a couple of years back – a steampunk female statue that I fell in li=ove with.
Possibly I am now collecting odd statues.

It was the faces. They gave me the creeps. Hmm, statue poetry . . .

hehehehe it’s not all sweetness and light in poetry land . . .
sometimes, the statues also speak!
I can’t remember if I wrote anything for my steampunk lady. I’ll dig her up and see. Perhaps write something fresh, regardless.

I shall look forward to hearing what the steampunk lady has to say.

I looked up her image yesterday. SHe has no poem, so I’ll have to look into the matter, I reckon.
