I finally finished what I think I needed to do. Yesterday’s post was a bit of a fib, in that I ended up doing another 3 or 4 iterations of the Waiting For Frank-Bear book before I felt I had it as good as it was going to get this time around.
I’ve just sent off an invitation to my ARC group members to download a copy for a read and review of either or both books (A Lake Sambell Walk is included).
I’m trying different ways of delivering copies to readers. This time, I’ve created folders in Dropbox and sent links to each folder out to readers. I’ll be interested to see (hoping) if it is as successful as I’d like.
Meanwhile, it’s not too late. If you’d like to join my little ARC group of early readers, let me know. All I need is an email and a preferred first name for the database.
BTW, I quite liked the image of the 2 covers side-by-side that I managed this morning. Presentation is not my strength, so I was well pleased.

This is moving forward in a big way; great stuff.

Thanks Claire. A lot of work. Hopefully worthwhile, but that isn’t certain!

Thank you Andrea, I’m a bit hit and miss with covers.

I beg to differ! All of your covers look very pleasing AND they fit the mood of the stories inside. That’s a huge achievement.

Gosh, Andrea. Thank you for a huge compliment.
Covers is an area I intend to develop my skills in over the next year or so. It will be interesting to see the evolution. I’m already contemplating how I’d like to do covers for teh White Whale series that I’m still writing, as well as for the love poetry trilogy Omnibus edition that is 3/4 of the way prepared.
I really enjoy creating them, but trying to identify/identify with a genre style is a bit beyond me.
Ah well.

I’m no expert on identify with a genre style either, but I try to make my covers ‘tell a story’. So far, all of your covers have done that too. Plus they’ve looked good. đŸ˜€
