My thanks today to US author and blog friend Peregrine Arc (A.R. Clayton) for her wonderful review of Sheep On The Somme.
The images that I used in the book held the power to speak to me, and to tell me a story. I think it is true that they have a story – perhaps a slightly different one – to tell each person that looks upon them for a moment.
They continue to work on me, even after my work with them has been done.
Thank you, do much, Peregrine. I would be delighted if readers here were to pop over to Peregrine’s place and read the review, here, or over to Goodreads, here, where all reviews will be gathered.

You are most welcome. I may be ordering a few copies for Christmas gifts later on this year. Does Australia have a national archives of some kind? I think it would be a great work to submit to it. Cheers and take care.

I’m sorry I can’t sign and inscribe for you. The tyranny of distance!
