Out of hibernation. The Farmer’s Market

I’m venturing out for the first time in a very long time to try to sell a few books.

I’ve rented a space for my trestle and a chair (and for me) at tomorrow’s Farmer’s Market here in town.

I haven’t been out an about selling books for a long time and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes. I think I’ve added six books since the last time.

Anyway, if I organise myself I’ll take a pic to post here. If you happen to be in my neck of the world, drop by and say hello.

      • They vary a lot, Liz. This time there was virtually no sales pitch – just sit in a chir and wait to be approached.

Other times I’ve been more proactive in pursuing reading to potential customers and generally being the poet trying to flog his poems.

Whenever my next outing is it will be following some press support, which should be in the papers this week. That might help, too.

        A lottery.
