How to read short poetry

<phew> It’s taken all day but I’ve managed to distract myself by putting a few thoughts together on the subject of reading short poetry. Probably talking through my hat, but if you care to read what I’ve done, with a few recorded samples, here is the link: https://frankprem.com/how-to-read-short-poetry/

Hope you enjoy.

  1. I enjoyed your article and, in particular those poems of your own you included. I have read a few times at the Poetry Cafae in London’s Covent Garden, where each poet has a maximum of 5 minutes in which to read their work. I can, therefore relate to what you say about time constraints. Kevin
