The southern stars are my stars now! So different from the northern hemisphere, I found at first that I was quite disoriented when looking up at the sky at night.

I didn’t realize you’d see Orion, upside down or not — we don’t see the Southern Cross, but the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia are the directional pointers for our North Star — I’m sure there are many other differences, and will also look forward to learning about them!

I’d love to do that, Frank — but it’s our winter, and the skies have been cloudy enough that nothing would look particularly sharp! When we have a nice, clear, starry night, I’ll try to take a picture, but I’m also not sure what will show up with my 200mm lens in a suburban sky! I’ll do what I can, but please be patient!
