Working title – ‘A Magpie Sings’ – a reading from the #WIP

I decided today that I was overdue for a reading to camera. The longer I don’t do one, the easier it is not to do one.

I’ve read a handful of poems from the current work-in-progress this morning, and, as rough as it always is, with me, I did enjoy it.

I find that the surest way of knowing if a poem flows and has good rhythm is to read it aloud and listen as I read, and perhaps to listen as I prepare the recording for other purposes.

My other purposes are, almost always, to share it with you.

Do feel free to watch and listen. The sound is scratchy, but ok for the purpose, I think. You’ll want around 11 minutes for this set.

#WIP reading 3rd September/2020
