Delighted (and relieved) to have these characters (both books) up and available on Amazon. They won’t be actually released for a little while yet, but the work on them is pretty much finished, I think.
The creation of a picture book isn’t something I realistically had in mind at the start of the year and it feels like something of an achievement.
These will be available exclusively through Amazon in an e-book format that opens as a two page spread – exactly in the style of a children’s picture book. Words appear on one side (varying between left and right), and images on the other page, allowing them to be seen and read in the same glance, if that makes sense.
I have actually produced the combined set as a physical book – both hard and soft cover – and I love them – especially the hardcover version. I’m not satisfied that the images are quite good enough for retail print, so they won’t be sold in that way.
I’ll pop the Amazon link for book 1 below if anyone wants to visit, but it occurs to me that not everyone has a Kindle device to read them on. That includes me, as I haven’t bought a reader. Instead, I use a free Kindle App on my computer and phone that allows me to read the Kindle format (.mobi) files, and stores them in a Kindle Library. I can also send material from one device to another.
