There are some truly joyous moments. This is one.
Three books – my A Love Poetry Trilogy – arrived in the mail today. Real books, and just some words, not just a manuscript, or a revision, or a cover that doesn’t quite fit.
The culmination of a major creative project, for me and it’s a little overwhelming, in some ways.
Thank you to those who have shared (and tolerated) this journey with me.

Congratulations!

Thank you, Christine. I was a little surprised at the intensity of my own reaction to seeing these as a set of three on the table.
It’s easy to overlook the price of pursuing passion.

Well, I can imagine…a father of “triplets”…bound to be an intense reaction. 😉

It’s a bit like that, Christine. They’ll need appropriate nurturing afterwards, as well.

I’ve not experienced anything quite like it, Cheryl. Big moment, I reckon.

Oh Frank! They are absolutely beautiful. Congratulations, big time. I know you worked your butt off getting both the interiors and the covers just right. And they are! Bravo my friend. 😀

It feels like a nut that I have to crack.
I have such a lot of work that uses imagery, that a picture book format that ticks all the boxes will be valuable, I think.

I think the picture book[s] – let’s not forget the NASA pictures – will enhance your poetry /books/ but your poetry is visual in its own right. So don’t kill yourself trying to do it all yesterday. :p

Yes, I know.
The NASA project presents me with particular challenges. I’ll tackle that one tomorrow! LOL

Well done, Frank! It’s always marvellous to actually hold your physical book (‘Hey! I did this! Wow!’). But three at once…

Such a wonderful thing, isn’t it.
Yes, I tend to bite of more than I can chew, but I figure I’ll be bale to draw on the template for these three for the rest of my career as a writer, in many ways.
We’ll see.

Thank you, Derrick. I’ll have to get back to writing the new again, soon, but for the moment, turning existing material into books is proving engrossing and obsessive.
My nature, I suppose.

A question of priorities, I’d say.

It’s amazing, to me, Liz.
I’m still sweating on getting a picture book into a ‘perfect’ format, and then my book labors shoudl be done for the year.

Folk seem to enjoy good storytelling, regardless of the shape it comes packaged in, Molly.
It is wonderful to have poetry well received by folk who don’t consider themselves poetry readers.
Thank you.
