looking down
from space
where the satellites
reside
it seems
just a bruise
grey
in the sky
black
on the ground
red
still red
around too many
edges
but
it is not
like a bruise
when it grows
and
it grows
not like a bruise
the way
it keeps spreading
or
when a hot day
brings
a hotter wind
and
you are standing too close
because
it comes
for you
too fast
I guess
that might be
the problem with a view
too wide
taken
from too far
from
outer space where
it’s so hard to see
small people
like you
and me
caught
by the red
still burning
all
of the edges

Boom! Direct hit. Well done!

Thanks, Liz. All sorts of perspectives. I seem determined to find quite a few of them.

The more perspectives, the more complete the understanding.
