insubstantially superior

from the bridge
I
overlook

from this point
the wattle
is below me

I am
the superior being

I tower
above

but
the wattle
is a beautiful thing
the creek
holds the sky
above

and though I
am superior
I am
as nothing

what is below me
is above

from here
all I cast
is shadow

insubstantial
as the air
I breathe

no more
than motes
arranged

insubstantial
