Tawonga Huts (from hiking, poetry)

I will breathe
the mountain air

filtered
sunlight
through time
through
a dandelion clock

inside myself

rarefied

here I am
in the quietest place
on earth

only
the sound
of flapping wings

a bird
so high up
I can hardly
see her

whispering

a regiment
of passing flies
quiet hum
a marching/flying
passing by you
song

<ahhhh>

a sleepy sigh
from half a moon
as the sun
goes down

and I ask
of myself

is this

all of this
not
entirely sufficient

some torments
weigh
and twist

until I do not
know
myself

is this me

IMG20190215161536

is this
really
me

I do not know
but
am enough

unto myself

    • Ha. Right this minute I’m sitting in front of my computer camera about to be interviewed by video. Yoy!!

Seriously, it was lovely up the mountain and I’m looking forward ot another hike to somewhere just like it.
