This exercise in responding to a visual prompt resulted in the poem below (a surprise (I do not like)). However, I thought about it and concluded that there must be more to the story.
Sure enough, this morning (6th February, 2019) when I tuned in I heard another tale, which you can read here, if you like.
My thanks to Diane for the prompt.

Cheers, Chelsea. These pictures just seem to want to tell their own stories.

Thank you. I’m delighted you enjoyed it. Seemed to me to be an elephant with an attitude.

So do I. I’m not a big fan of formal poetic forms, although I do respect the discipline it takes to use them.

Yep. Too hard to do well, for me. The form sucks up all the creativity. Not enough left for the content.

So cleverly done!! I read both the Elephant’s and the mice perspectives and I enjoyed them both. Well penned!

I enjoy doing spoken word, Jackie. I suspect I’ve learned to think for readings, when I write.

I’ll have to figure out how to combine audio and visual. It’s been done, but not by m ed.

ooo-err. That’s a leap! We’ll see. I did have a zoom interview with a chap who was located in America the other day. We’ll see how that scrubs up. You never know what might be next.
