cover me
in air
I am surrounded
air
on my skin
on my eyes
in my lungs
inside of me
air
outside me
when it’s done
~
cover me
with water
I am floating
water underneath
above
all about
water inside
will never leave me
water inside me
I am drowned
~
cover me
with earth
I am interred
below ground
soil
my mouth
my ears
soil
my fingers
buried
as one with earth
entombed
~
cover me
with flame
I am on fire
inferno
my beating heart
lick me kiss me
burn
I am a meld
within the haze
cover me in flame
till I am vapor
~
