cover you
in blue
you are
the cold palette
transparency
like ice
you
in blue
I cover you
yellow
like a sun
the paint gone
from the cup
you are the warm
the bright
I smother you
in red
volcano
brooding fire
boiling bubbling
stuff
thrown in the air
the lava flow
across the yellow sun
then
melting the glacier
running
in a rivulet
your face on fire
cold

Do you know Blaise Cendrars poem “Blue, How I Love You Blue?” One of my favorite poems ever. Yours reminded me of it.

Cheers Judy. No, I’m not familiar. Glad you you’ve enjoyed this one, though. 🙂
