bullets
across the sky

pursuing clouds

they chase

they seek
Sydney

they seek Canberra

look up
at the sky
to watch
white bullets

Amazing photos. Were you lying on your back?

No, but I live right under a flight path. Point the phone at the sky and see what it catches. Glad you liked the piece.

Thanks R. I’m enjoying doing clouds for my Seventeen Syllable site, and we’re right under a flight path. I find the jet trails inspirational for writing purposes.

A granddaughter, aged three, chalked one of these trails on blue paper. When asked what it was she replied “an airplane”

That’s a lovely story, Derrick.
I find I disapprove of the presence of so many jets in the sky and their pollution and the rest., but the presence of the jet trails is very inspirational and I keep taking pictures of them.
Hopeless romanticism in me, I think.
