thought shapes

Poem #59 from a series of meditations: the Pilgrim (Final for Series 1)

Back to the Pilgrim – Introduction

they are shaped with thoughts
pilgrim

pondered into mounds
of white glory

of grey portent

stretched into tresses
they are impressions
of an idea
of rain

illumination
in the shards
of a jagged light
that leads to the sound
of hunger
for more
