the short road

Poem #248 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

straight lines
in the plane
(all
but the kite)

great circles
in the sphere

transversals

orthodomes

my hemisphere

your hemisphere

I belie I correspond
with all
of your angles

follow the minor arc
the shortest road
home
