impressionism

Poem #210 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

in pastel
the idea of Bird
taking flight
done by suggestion

here
this way of applying colour
will soon
be a vehicle
Car
driving at pace
on the road

and another

these lines are the trigger
for a vision of Horse
in mid-gallop

there he goes
to the back
of the paddock

there it goes
only dust
left behind

and there it is
hovering
just like Hawk
out to catch
the suspicion
that I
will now insert

the scurry
of Mouse
