It’s amazing how friendly the birds can be when we anthropomorphize them! This is a wonderful combination of words and visuals! It’s almost as ifyou had written a script for them to follow 🙂 !

Haha, yes, only they were leading me – or so it felt at the time. I had to play catch up to interpret the story.

Aha — yes, they probably were leading you! But you still needed to understand the lead. I found with my heron friends that once I got to know them I could follow their lead pretty easily, and understand their life style, their cues, and their actions!
