peacock inquisition

Poem #163 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

the peacock stares
one hundred eyes

an inquisition
trembling
its intensity

but all it sees
is blue
blue blue

too aloof
to notice
me
