endured instantly

Poem #85 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

is a collection of instants
a life?

a single-file regiment
marching
through time

the whole
so much more
than its parts

what is now
but the hesitation
that happens
between
what has been
and what is to come?

a nothing
that separates
every everything

is a life
all of its instants
endured?
