high higher bright

Poem #62 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

burn high
climb higher
burn bright

in his contemplation
the flame danced
his meditation

burn high

the flame
sang its advice
as it danced

climb higher

a rhythmic pulse
of heat
and distorted light

burn bright

in his dream
he strode
a giant
