between two words (2)

Poem #48 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

the first word sang
like a bell
in the morning

and the sound
ran through
the clusters
and the cloisters
and the phrases
all along the line
the last word
the memory of images
shaped by the sound
of a bell
by the first word
of morning
