unravelling after

Poem #29 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

the frenzy took him
and he wrote

all through the morning
an idea
expressed itself
across the page
then on a screen

visited
re-visited

touched
with a caress
to
not disturb
but to refine
in single words
corrected tenses

then
it was done

~

what was done?

he did not know

~

reading glasses on
nose to screen
scroll
from the very top

read
and scroll

absorbed
aghast
delighted

is this
what he had achieved?

from where did it rise?

how could he
have known?
