the brook

Poem #26 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

come and laugh
with me
let’s
you and I
run

we will froth
our dabbles

come and play
the path
wanders
and leads us both
to
merry times

I am bubbled
with excitement
you
are a splash away
from laughing
loud

listen
with my stones
and gravel
I make a song

come
sing here with me
let’s you and I
together
run

and sing
