wearing down

Poem #23 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.

Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction

through the morning
he watched
the creation of a cloud
from traces
glimpsed on the horizon

slowly
sailing forward

growing
billow
upon billow
of feather-filled
soft curves

high on high
an accumulation
of roundness

voluptuating beauty
in low sun

a seduction
wearing
feather-down
