Poem #6 from a series of poems drawn from the imagination and collected as: a Bachelard reverie.
Back to Bachelard and me – Introduction
we could hike
or we could drive
we could fly
let’s go and hire
some wings
I’ll fit yours on tight
then I’ll turn around
and you
can fit mine
to me
one-two-three
we’ll start to flap
one-two-three
we will run
take off
into the open air
would you like that
would you like
would you like
to travel
like that
we could fly
