Poem #29 from a series of meditations: the Pilgrim
Back to the Pilgrim – Introduction
from here
pilgrim
on this day
the face of god
is striated
with heaven-down
a luffed breeze
has blown cloud
into feathers across the sky
tinged yellow
pink
in the evening sun
look up
and to the horizon
day after day
find room for your doubt
if you can

the Pilgrim Poem #30:‘who’ changes
There is something in this, the clouds perhaps, that calls to mind a Turner painting. Nice!

That’s a lovely comparison Anne. Thank you. Some days the sky is just everything that is needed.

There is no doubt for those who look and listen. Very though provoking poem, Frank!

Cheers Pat. Thank you I’m glad it works for you. And any sky will provide and display such a face. Just wait a while, no?
