she said

all
thrilled with mystery
do we not desire those de

licious moments
not
knowing
precisely
what is happening

find it maddening the need
to know

and isn’t it extraordinary when
there’s something new

plore

put on make up
get the hair done so
organise to have a …

but how boring

she said

when there’s no
thing hidden
nothing left for you to un
cover
for the betterment
and good
of your soul

don’t you feel
the need
for a little dis
tance
some room to breathe in

as the air
gets heavy
draped around you
it cloys fam
iliar to you it is
too
too
old

oh doesn’t it get tedious
when it’s all

so

known
