a breath (from the horizon)

the breath he took
inhaled air
sourced from the mists
on the horizon

he drew it deep
in silence
thought

ah ah

the cords in his throat
tightened
and vibrated
as they must at the idea
and even in their silence
shaped the sound

ah ah

the air that he inhaled
from the purity
of the horizon
vast
was a shape like

ah ah

ah ah

ah ah ah

like a song
