friend (no friend) at the door

that old wasp
is back
at my glass door

knocking with his head
trying to gain entry

why

I am no friend to wasps

why

is it a journey
to take vengeance
on me

that old wasp
in inside my house

not really
but
there it is
a shape flying
in shadow
across the floor

using the sun to help

projecting it’s presence
through the glass

oh my oh my

that old wasp
is back in my thoughts
butting his head
up against me

this is a vengeance wrought

knock knock
knock knock

that old wasp
is not a friend
of mine
