smile-dream poem

I’ll take a daydream
you take the world

while you climb
and scurry
and worry
I’ll smile

and in my daydream
I’ll hold a place
for when you finish
your domination

come join me then

here in our daydream
we’ll rise while the world moves
to the motion of climb
and of hurry
and scurry
and worry

we’ll smile

when you’re done there
come up here
with me

two in a daydream
while the world moves
without us

we’ll smile
