half-moon at the trapdoor

Poem #12 from Small Town Kid

Back to Small Town Kid – Introduction

twin pink half-moon
expanses of flesh protrude
almost disembodied
from a snug fit
that seals the wooden circle

two small watchers
suppress a giggle
overawed at the sight
stolen through the gap
at the top
of the trapdoor
