leap and flight

in between leap
and flight
there is nothing
but air

is left behind

remains unclear

all there is
is all there’ll be
and the pause
in the middle
of no tangible thing

until the fall
drags down

until the wind
drives up

until what equals
is the same

when the last touch
has departed
and gravity prevails

in between the leap
and flight
nothing stands
but air
