dear sirs
I wished to report a discovery
I have found the land again
it lies in a brown loam
that crumbles beneath my feet
with the hoe
I can form it into a furrow
or raise up a hill
into the new valley is placed a potato
and from the hill
I fashion a bed of planted things
oh gentlemen
I have found the land again
look
it fills the lines upon my palm
and lies under the nails
sirs
do you see here
this wonderful thing
I have new-found
again

I have nominated you for the three day, three quotes challenge. If you are interested, the rules are simple. And I may not be strictly following them…..however; you must thank the nominator, and suggest three other bloggers to follow. They can’t be repeated in the next two days’ writings.

Thank you, but I’ll pass. I find I don’t really have the focus to deal with awards, but it’s grand of you to nominate me.
Cheers,
Frank

A person who writes poetry everyday?😉

Yeah, it’s not really for me at present. I got into this blogging caper just to find a home for my work, and I don’t mind contributing a poem if I have something on theme – like the poets for peace initiative – but otherwise, I tend to let things go by. Might change in future, but for the moment I need to pass.
Thanks, but sorry. 😦

Frank
